Ingredients
Marshmallow’s demulcent properties help with coughs, bronchitis, respiratory catarrh, and any other inflammations of the pharynx and mouth, gastritis, etc. and is gentle, soothing and emollient.
Peppermint helps the immune system, colds and influenza, nasopharyngeal catarrh and sinus, coughs due to its antitussive, antimicrobial and diaphoretic effects.
Chamomile helps calm the respiratory tract and eases any mucosal inflammation such as catarrh, bronchitis, hay fever etc.
Ginger’s diaphoretic nature helps with common cold and fever and its anti-inflammatory actions help with bacterial infections in the respiratory tract.
Simply use 1 tsp per cup and infuse the tea leaves using fresh boiled hot water in a teapot. Cover and let infuse for about 5-10 minutes before drinking.
